Writing Prompts 6/16/23

Hello everyone! I hope your past week has been going well. I've been working a lot, but having a lot of fun. I've been seeing friends and working hard on Art Fight art. We're leaving later today to visit my grandparents and to visit some friends in Tannersville for their Father's Day Car Show. I'll definitely post about it.

Ok, here's your writing prompts for the week!

✯ When I opened the front door, it seemed as if nothing was there. But I felt like I'd invited something scary into my home.

✯ "Do you really care that much about that old coin?"

"It's super important to me! Of course I do."

"And why is it?"

"I... I don't know, it just is!"

✯ Do you ever feel like you're the opposite of how you wanted to be as a kid? Well, I am, literally.

✯ "Can I throw this away?"

"It'd be better if you did."

"What's in this bag, anyways?"

✯ The rock glowed with a bright luminescent green.

"What is it?" my friend asked.

"I don't know. They don't usually put weird glowing stones in gemstone panning bags."

✯ My cat looked so sick, so I started to pet him.

"It's gonna be ok, buddy."

"Yea, say that when you're literally dying." What!? Did my cat just talk?!
